International®, has announced the launch of Intersleek® 2120, a new silicone foul-release coating designed for the operational and regulatory realities of today’s modern fleet.
Unveiled at Posidonia in Athens, Intersleek 2120 expands access to proven silicone technology from International® for vessel operators, delivering reliable, predictable performance aligned with day-to-day operating conditions.
Built on 30 years of silicone expertise
Built on three decades of silicone expertise and real-world operational insight, Intersleek 2120 is engineered to support lower total cost across the docking cycle through reduced application and maintenance.
Designed for vessel operators transitioning from biocidal self-polishing copolymer (SPC) systems, Intersleek 2120 supports improved hull performance in response to increasing regulatory and efficiency pressures. Delivering speed-loss performance of up to 1.4%, it is particularly well suited to vessels such as bulkers and tankers, as well as a wider range of vessel types and operating profiles.
