International wins Environmental Award
Intersleek 900 Wins Environmental Award

Intersleek®900 has been honoured with a key environmental award at the Seatrade Med exhibition, held December 9th-11th in Venice.
Intersleek®900 was the winner of the “Environmental Initiative” category of the Seatrade Insider Cruise Awards 2008, organized by Seatrade Insider magazine. It was recognized for its environmental benefits for cruise operators, including lower fuel consumption and emissions, reduced paint consumption at the next docking, and reduced risk of fouling during loading delays.
Paulo Giaccone, Regional Manager - Marine Italy & Iberia was presented with the award by Tony Heuer, President of Fidelio Cruises, official sponsor of the awards.
The award took pride of place at International Paint Italia’s stand at Seatrade Med, which is showcasing our key products to the cruise and passenger industry. IP also presented at the accompanying conference in a category entitled “The Green Agenda”, which also highlighted the environmental benefits of Intersleek®900.
