We interviewed Mr Saigal, Managing Director of Dry Docks World Dubai, to gain an insight into how Intersleek 900 has helped their business.

“In just one man hour, 3.57 kilo of waste is generated, 90% of that is grit.  If you consider a five year docking cycle, there is hardly any grit to be used on a vessel which is already coated with the intersleek.

 Straight away you can see the benefits on the environment and as it contains no biocides it’s also better for the applicators.

Our vision is to use our floating dock purely for hydro blasting next year.

But the greatest change we experienced with using the Intersleek 900 coatings system was the considerable reduction in time the vessel is in dock."
